OHMI exists to promote and encourage education among pastors, laity, and women leaders within the Christian faith and to perform other religious and charitable activities that alleviate suffering and reduce ignorance in order to present everyone perfect in Christ. Our biblical mandates Colossians 1:28, "Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus." And 2 Timothy 2:2, "And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

We work with churches, Christian institutions of higher learning, and para-church organizations to provide short-term training to pastors, lay leaders, and youth in rural parts of Africa. At the same time, through speaking at mission seminars, we encourage and challenge church members to be involved in Missions. (click here for dates & venues). Currently, OHMI is engaged in establishing the first Training Center in Kenya. Upon completion, this center will have a 3200ft² Church Hall, 12,800ft² of Classrooms/Library/Administration Block, 9600ft² Residence hall, Kitchen and Dining Area.
